Movies and Music in the Park
GREAT and the City of Golden are planning to center the 2009 Movies and Music in the Park series around the 150th anniversary by finding bands and movies themed around the Wild West. We are currently taking suggestions at the web site www.goldengreat.org. We also would like to show short silent films from the early days of filmmaking before each movie runs to give the audience a sense of what it would have been like to be a movie-goer in the early part of the century.
Parfet Park, 10th and Washington. 6 to 11 p.m. Free. |
